the lowlight of dorkiness

is when you're skipping in your bedroom without a skipping rope because
a) you can't be assed going outside and
b) you haven't got a skipping rope anyway

the highlight of my day

is perfect circles.

not perfect as in perfectly round, but that both ends meet and you can't tell where they meet.

when i enter books into the database i have to write in the cover the number of the book, and then circle it. Often the circles are particularly messy, but yesterday and today i have had a few almost-perfect circles, and some perfect ones.

i have hiccups again and peppermints ARE NOT HELPING!!

peppermint to the rescue

I just had the hiccups for 1.5 hours!!! they were driving me nuts, and i was tossing up about drinking peppermint tea (we all know how i feel about that!) or getting a mint from the car. The car won easily and the hiccidyburps stopped about 5 minutes after starting to suck on my mint!! Yay for peppermints!!

In other news, i am no closer to getting a more "academic" job
