You know you've been an Arts student too long when...
.... you say to yourself "Five times One is Six"
.... someone says "okay, so we're estimating 100 people at $30 a ticket..."
and you say "can someone please get me a calculator?"
(and when you read that sentence you still have trouble working it out in your head)

Yeah, I think I understand.
I know I've been away from uni too long when I look up data on the net that I should know or be able to work out.

Also when the rigmarole of trying to negotiate the maze that is the College of Arts to track down essays for collection no longer exasperates you, even when you've come in specially from across town to get them... I guess I haven't been an arts student for too long yet :(
Yeah? well you know that you've been an Engineering Student too long when you take the walk from the science lecture theatres to the Engineering Complex and it feels like you're coming home. Ah, how I miss that sweet smell of saturated steam...
ah... I miss being an Arts student. Ranting about pointless semantic issues. And that wasn't even a pun. *sigh* But yeah, that's *so* true. Y
ou know you've been away from uni too long when you look at the stuff you studied in your final year and go "wow, that's so intense and confusing - how on earth did I ever understand that?!" (And then realise, some of the time you didn't :P )
