Beavers

I saw a documentary on Beavers yesterday. (not bevears, but large, furry rodents with long sharp teeth) They are so clever!! This documentary was showing some building a large dam, flooding the river and creating a huge pond, creating channels to the forest, and building a huge lodge to live in. They seemed so humanlike in what they were doing - climbing around on their hind feet, carrying mud in their front paws and patting it around their house.
I'm not doing such a great job of describing it, but it was cool. Squirrels are hanging in there by a thread....

well yes, the capybara *is* pretty awesome - in a colossal rodent sort of way (the best sort of way)
Do they do cool stuff like build dams and houses and larders and fell trees though?

Well, to be honest, I don't know.

But I do know: They don't need to.
